Principal Dentist
Dr Jugminder Sanghera

Dr Sanghera, known as Jay to his patients, qualified in 2004. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a strong focus on prevention. Jay has been mentoring dentists and therapists for the last 10 years and enjoys the outdoors. He is a keen Arsenal and F1 fan.
Dr Hiba Anwar
Dentist

Hiba is a dedicated dentist who has been part of the team since 2019, after qualifying at the University of Birmingham. She is a member of the Royal Collage of Surgeons of Edinburgh and has expanded her skills with additional training in coaching and mentoring. This enables her to support and guide newly qualified dentists. With a strong belief in a patient centred approach, Hiba works closely with each patient to understand their unique needs and ensure their comfort during treatment. She customises care plans to fit each individual, making sure that patients feel informed and at ease every step of the way. Outside of work, Hiba enjoys hiking, travelling and spending quality time with her family.
Katie Taylor
Dental Hygienist and Therapist

Katie is a highly experienced dental therapist who qualified in 2011 and has been a valued member of the Mercian House team since 2013. She provides routine hygiene treatments and has a particular expertise in restoring teeth with composite fillings. Known for her calm and reassuring approach, Katie takes pride in putting patients at ease and making their dental visits as comfortable as possible. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two young children and exploring the beautiful Worcestershire countryside.
Sarah Sanghera
Dental Hygienist and Therapist

Sarah qualified at Manchester University in 2022. She creates a comfortable environment with her gentle confidence and enthusiastic manner. She tailors her treatment to the specific needs and goals of each patient ensuring they feel able to maintain a good standard in the consistency of their oral healthcare habits and techniques.
Melanie Goodwin
Dental Nurse

Melanie joined the practice in 2003. She completed the national certificate for dental nurses in 2005 and has since gained her qualification in Dental Radiography. Melanie lives locally with her husband and two sons; she enjoys family holidays and days out with the Mercian team.
Phoebe Wooding
Dental Nurse
Pheobe joined Mercian House as a trainee dental nurse in June 2023 and has quickly become a valued member of the team. She is nearing the completion of her apprentice and has shown great dedication and growth throughout her training. Always smiley, polite and professional, she created a welcoming environment for both patients and colleagues. Outside of work Pheobe enjoys spending time with her friends and her dogs; Lola, Milo and Bella.
Steph Fazey
Dental Nurse

Steph joined the practice in 2015 as an apprentice and qualified as a dental nurse in 2016. Since then, she has gone on to gain a further qualification in dental radiography. Known for her warm and approachable manner, Steph helps put patients at ease and is a valued member of the team. Outside of work, Steph enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters.
Mia Adams

Mia joined Mercian House as an apprentice dental nurse in 2019. After two years of hands-on training and experience, she successfully qualified as a dental nurse in 2021. Since then, Mia has completed her radiography training and further enhancing the level of care she provides for patients. Her commitment to professional development reflects her passion for dentistry and her drive to continue to improve. Outside of work, Mia enjoys spending time with her friends and family and going on holidays.
Mia Walton
Dental Nurse

Mia started her journey as an apprentice dental nurse in January 2022 and proudly qualified in December 2023. Mia enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and cares about their visits to us. She is passionate about learning news skills within the dental field and excited to soon train in her dental radiography to expand her skills and support the team even more. Outside of work Mia enjoys spending time with her family and her new puppy Diesel.
Lucy Pardoe
Dental Nurse

Lucy joined the team in July 2023 and received her qualification in dental nursing in 2025. She values working closely with her team to provide compassionate care and ensure every patient feels comfortable. Outside of work she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.
